It is in Paris, at the Théâtre de la Reine Blanche, near the mythical Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord of the British director Peter Brook, that you can discover “Open Space”, the new play of the French young author and director Cedric Spinassou.
Synopsis:
Between a crook and a liar CEO, a hysterical and overworked product manager, a slacker and football fan commercial director, a Barbie Girl and nymphomaniac secretary, a sadomasochist designer, an alcoholic and depressive chief financial officer, a black trade unionist in search of his ancestors… white, and a lucid but misunderstood housekeeper …
At “Evasion”, luxury lingerie company, it is the crisis, but nobody knows it… or almost!
In the nice room of Théâtre de la Reine blanche, the young troupe of actors will give heart to joy in the respective parts of the play. And although sometimes at the edge of caricature and the tempo of their entries/exits is not always fair, you let yourself quickly carried away by their enthusiasm and the succession of twists in the play. In a world in crisis, it is always good to laugh at a piece with a hitting pitch: “Employees not very models in a company not very ethical: it moves!”
“Open Space” is so a funny and nice play to see for a few performances at Théâtre de la Reine blanche.
