Flash-back : nous sommes à la fin des années 70 et le réalisateur espagnol Adolpho Arrietta filme un huis-clos enflammé avec notamment au casting un tout jeune acteur français, Pascal Greggory. C’est le deuxième long métrage du réalisateur et il s’appelle Flammes (1978).
Flashback: we are at the end of the 70s and the Spanish director Adolpho Arrietta is shooting in camera on fire with in the cast a young French actor, Pascal Greggory. This is his second feature film and it’s called Flammes (aka Flames, 1978).

Dans ce film, Adolpho Arrietta s’amuse avec le cliché du pompier. Dans une grande maison, Barbara (Caroline Loeb), une jeune femme élevée par son père et une perceptrice, a grandi en fantasmant sur la figure du pompier. Point de sérieux ici, nous sommes dans le domaine du rêve et du jeu. Objet filmique non identifié, Flammes sera attisé votre curiosité et peut-être seriez-vous alors tenté de profiter de la rétrospective du réalisateur au Reflet Médicis à Paris pour en savoir un peu plus sur cet auteur méconnu.

In this film, Adolpho Arrietta plays with the cliché of the fireman. No seriousness here, we are in the realm of dreams and games.
