Talented French drummer, Emmanuel (Manu) Katché returns as a songwriter with a jazzy and groovy fifth album, “Third Round”.

Having played with the biggest since the late ’80s (Peter Gabriel, Al Di Meola, Bee Gees, Dire Straits, Francis Cabrel, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Gipsy Kings, Joe Satriani, Sting, Tears for Fears, Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman, Youssou N’Dour, Joni Mitchell to name a few), Manu Katche has surrounded himself with Pina Palladino on bass, Norwegian Tore Brunborg on piano and as guest stars, Norwegian-American Jacob Young on guitar and American Kami Lyle on trumpet for an album “Third Round” recorded in the south of France under the famous German label ECM Records.
