The French singer Mano Solo goes on his way

French singer Mano Solo, born Emmanuel Cabut at Châlons-sur-Marne in April 24, 1963, died this Sunday, January 10, 2010 in Paris.

Mano Solo :
a prolific and dark work

Son of the drawer Cabu, the committed singer Mano Solo, AIDS patient, gives us a prolific and dark work where his deep voice with accents from the suburbs of Paris sings strong and poetic lyrics about love (Allez viens), drugs (Au creux de ton bras), loneliness (Chacun sa peine, Je marche seul), the city of Paris (Allo Paris) to punk accents of the album of Frères Misère (1996).

After a dozen albums including the latest one Rentrer au port (2009), Mano Solo goes so definitely on his way.
